Algal Tile by Ecolurian

Algal tile is a veneer solution based on kelp seaweed providing a wide range of colors and tones from Chinese and Japanese sea, veneered on bamboo side pressed material (7mm ). It is coated with ecological coating solution in order to provide water and mechanical resistance.
Algal tile is the first product of Ecolurian created in 2018. It is a small format veneer solution with the goal to introduce the beauty of the kelp seaweed. Created by Nenad Bajkovic, a product designer who has always been searching for biological and unrepeatable beauty and resistance of the plants. Algal tile is the “test” for the large “full leaf panel” (14x80 cm) and for the large industrially kelp sheet connected veneer.
